Product Design

As the UX designer intern in the Cloud for Customer product team, my daily job was collaborating with senior designers and product managers to create design of product features for demonstration or development purpose.

My focuses were analyzing the current user experience of certain product aspects and offering enhancement suggestions, designing easy-to-use interactions, and delivering visual mock-ups with specs and annotation.

The product features that I had worked on included: Collection Pane, Key User Tool, Document Flow, Service Ticket, Multi-tasks Tabs, Offline Synchronization, Customer Insight Chart, and Product Quotes.

UI Guideline Documentation

On of my biggest accomplishments at SAP was creating guideline documentation for both iPad and web UI of Cloud for Customer product, which annotated UI components, described key interactions, and explained design patterns in details.

Apart from synthesizing the product UI information, these guideline documents aimed to provide a throughout understanding of user experience and interactions to all product team members especially new hires, and was meant to be saved as a legacy for the design team.

I contributed to the product by designing new system icons with over 300 variations.

Exploring all possibilities possible and iterating until reaching an ideal solution have been my mentality in design and problem-solving.
