School Projects at AAU
2011-2014
During the time when I was pursuing a Master’s Degree in Web Design and New Media at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, I’ve received inspirations and skill training in design thinking, visual communication, technology, and user experience. My school projects varied from graphic design, digital imaging, interaction design, and UI/UX design.
JYO
Most action figure collectors have encountered a long-term problem which is lacking physical space to collect and showcase their collections.
My solution is JYO, a cloud-based tablet application that enables collectors to create interactive 3-D models of their collection and use unlimited virtual space to showcase.
Polaroid SX-70
Polaroid SX-70 is a responsive website that tells stories about Polaroid’s first consumer instant film camera, SX-70.
Interacted by scrolling, the website will show a series of images, illustrations and information in an animated way.
Try interactive prototype(Built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
AAU Mobile
AAU Mobile is an iPhone app that helps students improve school-life experience. The app offers useful features including shuttle navigation, academic resources, course information, library, news and events, student discount and job/internship postings.
I collaborated with 3 teammates on this project for one semester acting as project lead, information architect and usability testing facilitator. The final deliverable is an interactive prototype built by Flash.
